Crowdsource, or get funding from sponsors?
The TalkingPad app can be used by anyone that interacts with other people in presenting ideas, proposals, etc. It can also teach our kids (and us!) to think non-linearly when we prepare ourselves in communicating our ideas to others. So, the appeal is universal.
So, we could develop this as a crowdsourcing project, but I think there are other options. For example, what about seeking sponsors for the project? We could crowdsource the funding for a small team that can develop and ship. We could also seek corporate sponsors, if for example, instead of making the app free, there is a charge for it and the proceeds go to a noble cause.
